        Amplicon sequencing is a type of sequencing that involves sequencing PCR products of a specific length. The 16S rRNA gene of bacteria and the ITS gene of fungi have both conserved and variable regions. By comparing the sequencing results with databases, the structure and diversity of the bacterial/fungal communities in the environment can be analyzed. For environmental samples, 16S/18S/ITS gene amplicon sequencing is an important technical means for studying the diversity and community composition of environmental microorganisms.

        According to different research purposes and needs, we provide three types of amplicon products: 16S rDNA sequencing, ITS sequencing, and target region amplicon sequencing. The specific introductions are as follows:

        16S rDNA sequencing: 16S rDNA is the DNA sequence that encodes the small subunit rRNA of prokaryotes. It has 10 conserved regions and 9 variable regions (V1-V9). The conserved regions are not very different between bacteria, and the variable regions are specific to genera or species. Sequencing a specific variable region of 16S rDNA is used to study the community structure and diversity of bacteria or archaea in environmental microorganisms.

        ITS sequencing: ITS is divided into two regions: ITS1 and ITS2. ITS1 is located between the 18S and 5.8S rDNA sequences of eukaryotes, and ITS2 is located between the 5.8S and 28S rDNA sequences of eukaryotes. Sequencing ITS1 or ITS2 is used to study the community structure diversity of fungi in environmental microorganisms.

        Target region amplicon sequencing: According to the research needs of customers, we use the second-generation high-throughput sequencing technology to provide sequencing and analysis services for the PCR products of certain target genes.
