Service introduction
In recent years, the research on the genomes of pathogenic microorganisms has made rapid progress. Genome research refers to the sequencing of the entire genome of microorganisms, and on the basis of understanding the overall gene structure, the functions of each gene alone or the interaction between several genes are studied. Through genome research, the complete genes of microorganisms are fundamentally revealed, which can not only discover new interactions between genes, new regulatory factors, etc., but also enable humans to master the pathogenic mechanism and laws of pathogenic microorganisms at a higher level. This will lead to the development of new preparations, vaccines and drugs for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of microbial infections.
According to different research purposes, microbial genome sequencing is mainly divided into four types: microbial genome survey, microbial genome framework, fine map and finished map. Our company uses the Illumina platform for bacterial genome sequencing, using short-fragment high-coverage sequencing, combined with Illumina paired-end sequencing, to provide personalized solutions for different sequencing studies.
